HOME

First of all, let’s focus on the word home. The homes that we sell are in livable or close to liveable condition, and they have met our strict criteria before we acquired them. Sure, many of them need a little work, but none of them require a complete rehab. Many of our best customers are first time home buyers trying to find a decent place for their family to live, and our homes are often exactly what they are looking for. When we acquire homes, we often contact the banks and ask them if we can purchase anything that is in livable or close to livable condition, in neighborhoods and towns where the crime rate is not out of hand, and where the homes nearby are occupied by hardworking, respectable families. In other words, while our competition just gets whatever homes they can and resells them for a quick profit, we diligently only acquire those few gems that meet a specific criteria. Community Upkeep does not cast wide nets, we utilize a laser-focus strategy and acquire a very specific types of desirable home.

OWNER

Next, let’s focus on the word owner. That’s right; we want to work with you so that you can become a home owner. We are not going to be your landlord. We want to take you through our simple, no-nonsense qualification process and help you become a home owner. The plus side is simple, you will be paying a mortgage that is comparable to rent, but it will actually be going into your property. No more throwing away money every month! For some, home ownership can be intimidating. Some think they cannot do it, and some have tried and failed. We want to work with you and show you not only that it is possible, but also that it is possible for YOU even if you have been turned down in the past. One of the biggest goals of our company is to go the extra mile and make the daunting process of homeownership very attainable. We respond to email, voicemail, and text messages, we escrow taxes and insurance, we customize payment plans to meet your needs, and we do all of this without requiring a bank for financing.

CAN YOU SWING A HAMMER?

Keep in mind that we acquire and sell our properties “as is where is.” Our homes have met our criteria, but we make no guarantees or promises that they will meet yours. We typically make no improvements or repairs before selling these properties to you. Our promise is that we will help you in your journey to home ownership and that we will make the process straightforward for you along the way, but the decision to purchase the property is 100% up to you. Most of our homes are in livable or close to livable condition, but it would be ideal if the owner could put in whatever work is necessary to improve or upkeep the home.
